Weather

When thinking of the weather in Tanzania, it is worth noting that it is just below the equator and so, from a temperature point of view the areas are affected more by altitude and humidity than seasonal changes. The average temperature for Tanzania, year-round, is approximately 30 degrees Celsius. The northern safari parks are a couple of degrees cooler, due to their altitude and, the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, at around 2,300 meters, can get down to freezing at night.

Tanzania History

As with most African countries the history of Tanzania has been a rollercoaster ride. The dichotomy of lush vegetation, along its coastline and northern interior, and barren plains, in the southern and central interior, has created population movements and invasions throughout the generations.

Financial protection

We are a fully bonded tour operator with ATOL which is a government backed scheme to protect passengers in the event that we should no longer be able to provide the services as agreed.

Social responsibility

Tourism is a very tricky subject and one that is constantly debated around the world. Is air travel the reason for the global warming crisis that we are in? Is tourism to remote communities destroying the fabric of their society and losing traditions forever? Can tourism be used as a force for good in developing nations and provide regular income and jobs for the local communities?

Country Combinations

As such a huge and diverse continent, we have found that many of our clients have tried to combine a few countries within the same trip in order to make the most out of their time. Below are a couple of the most popular combinations in East Africa.

Country Guide

There are quite a few reasons that Tanzania, today, has become the most popular destination in Africa for those looking to combine safari with an idyllic beach. From a safari point of view, it is the range of topographies that it contains; from the Great Rift Valley and the open grasslands of the Serengeti, to the mystical mountains and swampy marsh of the west, and on to the riverine splendour that is the south. Each of these regions gives a look at a different side of Africa’s famous wildlife and so appeases both the first-time safari go-er and the hardened veteran.
