Porini Amboseli Camp

When it opened in 2001, Porini Amboseli was one of the first eco-camps in Kenya and today, is still one of the favourite camps in Amboseli National Park. Staff at Porini are all locally employed and trained Masai warriors and elders, with the exception of the manager and head chef.

Lewa House

In the heart of the Lewa Wildlfie Conservancy, the stunning, owner-run property of Lewa House is a long time favourite in this area of Kenya. With views of Mount Kenya and the sacred mountains of Ol Olokwe to the north, Lewa House offers cute, luxury cottages and newly added “earth pods” to accommodate those looking for a safari experience off the beaten track.

Swahili Beach Resort

Swahili Beach Resort is a very large resort in a central position on Diani Beach, built and designed more than ten years ago to combine luxury and modern decor, whilst ensuring it has a minimum ecological impact.

Ol Malo House

Ol Malo House is perched on the edge of the escarpment with breathtakingly vast views extending over the plains of the Laikipia Plateau. Ol Malo homes three generations of the Francombe family, who are genuine hosts, full of charm, enthusiasm and exquisite local knowledge. It’s a place of character and fun, and the real emphasis is on its wealth of safari activities.

Kicheche Mara Camp

Sat in the plains of the Mara North Conservancy, Kicheche Camp has been a favourite for big names over the years. The game-filled plains of the conservancies are renowned to have a lower vehicle density and can offer a wider selection of game viewing activities than camps located inside the reserve.

Satao Camp

As one of the only five camps in Tsavo East, a safari here offers you a very novel and exclusive experience of game viewing.

House of Waine

As one of the favourite boutique hotels in Nairobi, House of Waine is a warm, family owned and run property, offering relaxation and intimacy in the exclusive suburb of Karen. Its name as House of ‘Waine’ is formed from the initials of the family members, and each of the 11 boutique rooms have been a product and collaboration of their imagination and interior creativity.

Saruni Wild

In contrast to the many luxury tented camps in the Mara, Saruni Wild Camp has refreshingly stripped back the lavish furnishings and décor, creating a camp focused purely on the safari experience… which is what Africa is all about!

Lamu Island

Lamu Island

Located in northern Kenya, Lamu Island is a hub of history. Like Zanzibar in Tanzania, Lamu Island is often considered alongside Kenya as an entity in itself. As one of the early colonising sites for the sultanate of Oman in the 13th century (before he continued down to Zanzibar and finally settled the colony there), Lamu is steeped in ancient tradition and architecture and offers a very different experience to that of the mainland.
