DAY
1-2

Okavango Delta, Botswana

Met in Maun international airport in Botswana and connect onto the internal flight to the Delta Camp airstrip in the Okavango Delta. Met on arrival and transferred to Oddball's Enclave Camp to stay for 2 nights on an all-inclusive basis including all game viewing activities on a shard basis. Oddballs’ Enclave is situated on the edge of Chief’s Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango Delta and offers arguably the purest traditional Okavango Delta experience. Oddballs’ Enclave caters to the active traveller and undoubtedly represents great value for money.

Oddballs’ Enclave pays homage to a time when safaris were a real adventure. Activities are conducted by your own professional guide (a maximum of two guests per guide. The activities at Oddballs’ Enclave usually start by mokoro (water level dependant), after which you will walk on some of the larger islands in the area. Walking is an integral and significant part of the experience at any time of year. The extent of the walks will depend on your tastes. Some guests elect to go out for the whole day with a packed picnic lunch. It is often said that the very best way to experience the wonders of the African bush is on foot and Oddballs’ Enclave certainly lives up to that claim.

DAY
3-4

Khwai Community Area, Botswana

Transferred to the airstrip to fly to the Khwai Airstrip. Met on arrival and transferred to Bushways Mobile Camp to stay for 2 nights on a full board basis including camping equipment. The Fully Serviced Safari is a non participation safari, where the Bush Ways team will carry out all the necessary camp chores to keep the safari running smoothly. There is one guide with the guests at all times and a back up team (chef + camp assistants) in a backup vehicle setting up and breaking camps, cooking meals, etc.

Looking at a map of Botswana, you’d miss Khwai completely if you didn’t know it was there. Wedged between the big-ticket attractions of Chobe National Park to the east and Moremi Game Reserve to the south, Khwai exists as a significant big game destination of its own.

DAY
5-6

Savuti - Chobe National Park, Botswana

Transferred through to Chobe National Park to stay for 2 nights on a full board basis including all camping equipment. When it comes to Botswana, Savute breaks all the rules: both for animal behaviour and for habitats. Here, lions hunt elephants, leopards take to fishing, the grasslands are vast and open and rocky hills punctuate the flat terrain. Savute has proved itself somewhat of an enigma over the decades. During years of abundance its marsh fills with water, fed by the Savute Channel. The water weaves its way here from Angola via a chain of rivers and lagoons, spilling out into the marsh and drawing huge herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebras and buffalos.

DAY
7-8

Chobe National Park, Botswana

You will then head northwards to the Chobe River where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river, followed by the call of the majestic African Fish Eagle. The Chobe River Floodplain is an amazing game viewing area where water attracts large herds of buffalo, elephant, zebra and other herbivors. Due to the proliferation of prey, predators are likely to be close at hand. Sun sets in this region as always spectacular and allow amazing photographic opportunities. Camping will be in private designated campsites with ensuite bush ablutions on every tent.

DAY
9-10

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Transferred across the border to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe to stay in Ilala Lodge for 2 nights for 2 nights on a B&B basis. Ilala Lodge is situated close to the Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe as well as to the town centre. Wild animals are often seen grazing the hotel lawns as the National Park borders the front of the property.

Aside from being a UNESCO world heritage site and a natural world wonder, Victoria Falls also forms a natural border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The falls can be seen from both countries, and for the most part the same activities are offered on both sides, from helicopter scenic flights to village visits and souvenir shopping.Whether your idea of getting away from it all is a relaxed high tea in colonial grandeur or a heart-stopping bungee jump off a bridge, Victoria Falls keeps both the faint of heart and the most insatiable of adrenalin junkies busy for days.

DAY
11

Head home

Transferred to Victoria Falls international airport and connect onto international flights home.
