Located in the centre of Zambia is Kafue National Park, and at a size of 22,400 square kilometres (approximately the same size as Wales), Kafue is the country’s largest national park. Although it is a lesser-visited area, Kafue homes a variety of areas and plains, offering diverse landscapes, geography, birding and wildlife.

Lusaka to Ila Lodge, Kafue National Park

Met on arrival in Lusaka international airport and transferred via road (approximately 4 hours) to Kafue National Park. Here, you will stay in Ila Lodge for 3 nights on an all-inclusive basis including all game viewing activities and park fees.

Musekese Camp, Kafue National Park

Transferred to Musekese Camp to stay for 2 nights on an all-inclusive basis including all game viewing activities on a shared basis and park fees. Musekese Camp is a located in a remote area, surrounded by mature riverine forests and overlooking a permanent lagoon.

Shumba Camp, Kafue National Park

Transferred to Shuma Camp to stay for 2 nights on an all-inclusive basis including all game viewing activities and park fees. Shumba Camp is the most luxurious property in Kafue National Park and is a fantastic wilderness property located in the Busanga Plains.

Transfer back to Lusaka

Take a shuttle flight from Busanga Plains to Lusaka. Connect onto your international flights home or to onward destinations.
