Boasting its great position between the international and domestic airports of Nairobi, The Boma is our pick of the choice for guests passing through the city. The comfortable rooms and superb service compliment the rest of the hotels space and amenities. The only downside is that its 148 rooms prevents a completely quiet stay, which its neighbouring hotels in the suburb of Karen can often provide.

The Boma, with just 13km from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and 5km from Wilson Airport, is by far the best located of ‘airport’ hotels. Its location works well for all guests… those wanting to crash out and get a good night’s sleep before or after a flight, and guests wanting to get out and explore the hustle and bustle of Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.

The Boma is a 12 story building offering 148 deluxe rooms. The hotel has several restaurants offering indoor and alfresco dining, a collection of modern meeting and conference rooms, a pool, a fitness gym, a spa, a health club and a cocktail lounge that overlooks the tropical gardens. It also offers a range of additional amenities that aim to make your stay a completely comfortable and hassle free one, such as laundry services, currency exchanges, concierge and luggage storage.

The rooms- layered as deluxe, superior and business suites, are all comparably styled, with a modern and contemporary undertone with a traditional African finish, including wooden furnishings and hints of vibrant Masai colours. The Boma boasts how comfortable the rooms are, with large en-suites, silk and plump pillows and bed linen, controlled air conditioning and satellite television.

Good location and value for money, especially as a stop over in Nairobi
