Azura is a permanent camp situated in the western part of the Selous - an area of peacefulness and tranquility contrasting against the sounds of the mighty Ruaha River. Sitting on the banks of the river, Azura and its 11 tents offers a remote location with ultimate luxury... and by luxury we really do mean luxury... with private plunge pools, air conditioning and private dining on the river banks!

Whilst many camps are located on the Rufiji River, Azura Camp is sat on the banks of the mighty Ruaha River. Azura sits in a remote area in the western part of the Selous Game Reserve. Although it is not the best for game, such as the areas homing Siwandu, Impala and Manze, it is a stunning camp with a level of luxury that some only dream of!

As a permanent camp, Azura prides itself in its facilities and its luxury. The central lounge area is cosy, with comfortable sofas and a collection of books to get stuck into on a warm afternoon. The camp has a main swimming pool as well as each tent having their own plunge pool.

The 12 spacious tented villas are the height of luxury, as they all have their own private plunge pools, decks and hammocks, butler-hosts and stunning accommodation. The tents are each ensuite and have flushing toilets, hot running water and an indoor and outdoor shower.

The Selous Game Reserve famously offers a range of safari experiences and Azura prides itself in offering these activities at a high standard. These include game drives in open sided Landrovers, walking safaris, boating, fishing and star gazing under the African sky.

Stunning rooms and views, luxury is up there!

Not in the best area of the reserve for wildlife
