About the location
The lodge is on the very edge of the Kyambura Gorge which sits outside of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The gorge itself is home to family of habituated chimpanzees so you can trek to see this family from this lodge. That said, as there are much fewer chimps, it is not the best place to see them.

lodge Layout
The lodge is set on the edge of the gorge so all areas of the property offer suburb views of lush, green forest. The main area is impressive and as the first thing you see from the car, it really does set the bar high. And this continues on to the rooms as you walk down the well-kept paths through the gardens.

Kyambura Gorge Lodge Accomodation
The bandas in Kyambura Gorge Lodge are very spacious and impressive. They include an open-plan bedroom with a day bed, a lounge area and private veranda overlooking the forest. The en-suite bathrooms are also huge and offer both an indoor and outdoor shower. You are guided to and from your room and if you request a morning wake up call, you are woken by a beautiful song sung by a member of the staff.

Wildlife & Activities at Kyambura Gorge Lodge
As mentioned, you can do a chimpanzee trek inside the Kyambura Gorge itself to see the family of habituated chimps. You can also do wildlife walks, visit community projects and coffee plantations.
