Great Safari, Great Beach
Superb value for money...
Along with the first itinerary we feature in this section, this itinerary has long been a favourite with safari clients and, with properties like Mchanga Beach hotel, it is now possible to have a great beach and a bit of Zanzibari culture on Stone Town for a good price. Again, only a short trip, this is perfect for those looking for a bit of Autumn sun, or an early spring pick-me-up. Take a look!

1
Fly to Dar es Salaam
Fly to Dar es Salaam international airport and met on arrival.
Day
2-4
Impala Camp, Selous Game Reserve tanzania
Met on arrival into Dar es Salaam and transferred to the domestic airport for the flight into the Selous Game Reserve. Met on arrival and transferred to Lake Manze Tented Camp where you will stay for the next 3 nights on a full board basis. Sitting in the middle price bracket, Impala camp succeeds in offering simple luxury without a vast price tag. With only 6 tents Impala is one of the smallest of all the camps in the Selous and this small size is reflected in the care and attention to detail throughout the camp and rooms.

5-9
Pongwe Beach Hotel zanzibar
Met and transferred to the airstrip in time for the morning flight via Dar to Zanzibar. Met on arrival and transferred across the island to Pongwe Beach Hotel to stay for 5 nights on half board basis. This hotel is our pick of the smaller, less expensive hotels as Pongwe unashamedly does what it says on the tin. The accommodation itself is fairly simple, and they use brackish water (slightly salty) in the showers, but the service, food and beach are utterly superb!

10-11
Jafferji House, Stone Town zanzibar
Transferred in the morning through to Stone Town to stay in Jafferji House in the centre of town for a couple of nights on a B&B basis to explore this fascinating area.

12
Fly home
Transferred back to Zanzibar Airport to fly to Dar es Salaam and connect onto international flights (international flights are not included in the itinerary cost).
