About the location
The hotel is just 1km from Entebbe international airport so it is a good option for those who are coming off a long international flight. The hotel looks out to Lake Victoria which is a nice view and location to start your Uganda trip.

The hotel is a large chain hotel so it is quite standard in terms of the design, décor and facilities. That said, the main area does offer some local Ugandan artwork and pieces (such as spears and colourful cushin covers). The building is two-stories and the rooms are located on either side of the main area, first and second floors.

Protea Hotel Accomodation
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They are well-appointed, with large beds, a private veranda and an en-suite. There is air conditioning in the rooms which is useful for the summer months, and they all have a partial view of Lake Victoria. Tea and coffee facilities are in the room.
