Paraa Safari Lodge

As mentioned, Paraa Safari Lodge is located inside the national park so it is convenient for game drives and safari experiences in Murchison Falls Park.

You will be one of the first in the park and as the game is most active in the early hours of the day, sightings will be good.

The lodge, although independent, feels very chain-like as it is so large and lacks some personality. The main building is two-stories and the second floor comprises of the restaurant area and a couple of different bar and lounge areas. The ground level of the main area includes a curio shop, a lounge and bar area and then a garden area with a large infinity pool.

Paraa Safari Lodge has 54 rooms which are situated either side of the main area. The rooms are very standard; comfortable beds, a small balcony and an en-suite bathroom. The higher standard of room offers a slightly larger room and a lounge area.

Game drives are offered both in the morning and afternoon inside the park. The lodge is located inside the park so there are no long transfers involved before or after your safari. Boat safaris, river cruises, fishing and hikes up to the falls are also offered and recommended!
