About the location
Perched on a small hill overlooking the mighty Rufiji River, Roho ya Selous sits in one of the best areas for wildlife in the park.
Nearby, resident hippo and crocodile are heard and seen on a regular basis on Lake Manze and Lake Nzerakera. With only a 20 minute drive from the airstrip, the camps location makes it accessible for a variety of game viewing activities such as walking, boating and driving.

Roho ya Selous Accomodation
As the name translates to the “the heart of the Selous” (the former name for the park), the idea behind the design of the camp is to mix both indoor and outdoor living.
The rooms all have running hot and cold water, an indoor and outdoor shower, and even air conditioning for the warmer months. Each of tents have a private, shady veranda to relax on at the end of an exciting day!
