About the location
Set to the east of the famed Siwandu region of the park, Impala is located on the outer edge of a bend in the Rufiji River which affords it sweeping views up and down the river.
On the whole the game viewing in this area is very reliable and, being set slightly away from the main game viewing area allows it to feel a little more secluded than properties like Siwandu and Lake Manze Camp.

camp Layout
As with all of the properties in Nyerere National Park, Selous Impala Camp has made the most of its location along the banks of the Rufiji River with all of the 8 tents featuring views out across the river and seclusion from those around.
With a good sized swimming pool and a great dining area and bar looking out over the river, it is a good way to send a few nights in the bush!

Selous Impala Camp Accomodation
The large tents that are used for the property have plenty of room inside and are set on their own decking, each with a verandah and views out over the Rufiji River. While these are standard canvas tents, they are well ventilated and have ensuite facilities that keep them cool and comfortable.
