About the location
Amanzi Camp is the most easterly camp in the Lower Zambezi National Park. Its location is similar to Anabezi, but this camp is set apart on a low ridge about the Ntwenya Channel. The landscape here diverse, with acacia and thorn tree forests, open plains and marshy riverbanks which attracts a wealth of animals. There is a resident pride of three male lions called Blondey, Blacky and Ginger who are seen very often.

camp Layout
There are four tented rooms at Amanzi which make the whole camp feel intimate. The main area is raised on a timber platform and has a comfortable seating and dining area which has neutral and subtle wooden décor and tones. The view from the main area and rooms look out to the Zambezi and several of its islands.

Amanzi Camp Accomodation
The rooms are set along a raised wooden deck and have a nice outdoor area which you see as you walk in. The rooms have comfortable beds, a small lounge area and well-appointed en-suite bathrooms. The design and décor is fitting with the safari feel, with lovely use of dark woods and neutral colours.

Wildlife & Activities at Amanzi Camp
As Amanzi is one of the most easterly camps, it is likely that you will go on a safari activity without seeing another vehicle or camp (maybe another vehicle from its siter property, Anabezi). On the land, walking safaris and game drives are offered, and after a sundowner or two, this then turns into a night drive where leopards and genets are regularly seen. On the water, canoeing, boat safaris and fishing are offered.
