Where to Stay

Anabezi Camp

from $1,854 per person per night for 2026/27

Luxury accommodation and superb game viewing in the eastern area of the park

Looking out to the Mushika Flood Plains and the Zambezi River in the distance, Anabezi Camp is a great choice for those looking for luxury in an untouched wilderness. The camp is to the very east of the Lower Zambezi National Park so the safari experience feels private and the guiding is truly fantastic. An all-round great choice!

Spacious and luxurious, great game viewing

The camp is very spread out, quite a walk between room and main area

About the location

Anabezi is located in the east of the Lower Zambezi National Park which is truly remote and secluded. This area, where the Zambezi River and the Mushika Flood Plain meet is beautifully diverse, with acacia and thorn tree forests, open plains and marshy riverbanks which attracts a wealth of animals. There is a resident pride of three male lions called Blondey, Blacky and Ginger who are seen very often.

Do see Parks & Regions on this page.

camp Layout

Anabezi is extremely spacious and a high timber platform connects everything together. It is quite a walk between the furthest room and the main area so if guests have mobility issues, it would be worth mentioning this beforehand.

The main area is all open plan and has a very natural feel to it. There is a small pool in the main area and another pool further down the walkway, which has its own bar and seating area. This means that if the camp is full, there are plenty of private areas for the guests.

Anabezi Camp Accomodation

Walk along the timber platform and you will get to your beautiful room. The walls are canvas but glass sliding doors elegantly separate the indoor and outdoor space. The en-suite bathrooms are rounded off with a solid structure but the rest of the room is open plan. There is an outdoor toilet, basin and shower and then on the veranda is your private plunge pool and deck chair area. The rooms each look out to a small lagoon and beyond that is the mighty Zambezi.

Wildlife & Activities at Anabezi Camp

As Anabezi is one of the most easterly camps, it is likely that you will go on a safari activity without seeing another vehicle or camp. On the land, walking safaris and game drives are offered, and after a sundowner or two, this then turns into a night drive where leopards and genets are regularly seen. On the water, canoeing, boat safaris and fishing are offered (Justin is the head fisherman and he is such a patient guide)!
