An itinerary of Kenya's best lakes, plains and stunning white-sand coastlines
Staying at the highest of the Rift Valley Lakes, Kenya’s Lake Naivasha is a beautiful place to start a safari, introducing you to the big game with some incredible backdrops. After your fair share of flamingos, head to the Masai Mara, and get your fix of African wildlife across these game-filled plains. Finish this lovely itinerary off with a couple of nights on the coast to take in all the magical experiences you’ve encountered!

1
Fly to Nairobi kenya
Fly overnight internationally to Nairobi to arrive the the following morning.

2-4
Lake Naivasha kenya
Met on arrival and transferred to Lake Naivasha (approximately a 2 hour drive) to stay at Loldia House for 3 nights on a Full Board basis including all game viewing activities. The Rift Valley Lakes, in particular Naivasha and Nakuru, are the series of lakes that sit in the valley that runs to the west of Nairobi, and stretches from Ethiopia to central Tanzania. The major feature to Lake Naivasha is that the lake shores are surrounded by beautiful flower farms, old colonial houses and small, local villages. Animals such as zebra, hippo and giraffe are often seen grazing around the lake and bird life here is exceptional.

5-7
The Masai Mara kenya
Transferred to the airstrip at Loldia to fly to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Met on arrival and transferred to Governors' Camp to stay for the next 3 nights on a Full Board basis including all park fees and game viewing activities on a shared vehicle basis. Definitely the jewel in Kenya’s safari crown, the Masai Mara National Reserve and the surrounding, Greater Mara Conservation Area, are still one of the greatest regions in Africa to head for if you are wanting to see plenty of game in a short amount of time. Generally seen as best during the period when the wildebeest migration herds are viewable (from June until the end of October), although the beauty of the park is that it is still host to plenty of resident animals and predators throughout the year.

8-12
Diani Beach kenya
Transferred back to the airstrip for the flight to Mombasa on the Southern Coast of Kenya. Met on arrival and transferred to Waterlovers to stay for 5 nights on a Half Board basis. The coastline down here features the archetypal white sands and azure waters that you would expect from a desert island and, with their secluded location, many of the properties also offer a complete removal from the hustle and bustle of the beaches further to the north.

Back home!
Fly back to Nairobi to be met and transferred to the international airport in time for the overnight flight back.
