Selous & Northern Mozambique
The ultimate beach destination
For those that are keen beach bums, this is the perfect combination of safari and the ultimate beach destination! Flying out overnight and, within 10 minutes, being on a perfect beach being served your breakfast looking out onto the Indian Ocean...what better way to start your trip? From here is it another quick flight into the Selous to stay right by the river side, experiencing some of the best safari in Africa...and then finishing it off by flying in your private plane to northern Mozambique to stay in one of the most exclusive islands in the world, Vamizi.

Fly to Dar es Salaam tanzania
Fly to Dar es Salaam international airport and met on arrival.

2-3
South of Dar es Salaam (Indian Ocean) tanzania
Met and transferred to the domestic terminal in time for the morning flight to Ras Kutani. Met on arrival and transferred to the lodge to stay for 2 nights on a full board basis in a Suite. This rustic luxury is the epitome of relaxation and comfort. This is, absolutely, the best way to start any holiday...sipping cocktails and looking out onto the Indian Ocean!

4-7
Selous Game Reserve tanzania
Fly in the morning via Dar to the Selous Game Reserve. Met on arrival and transferred to Sand Rivers Camp where you will stay for the next 4 nights on a full board basis. Located right on the mighty Rufiji River, Sand Rivers offers total seclusion, exceptional game viewing and the ultimate in luxury and service. In your 4 night stay you will experience walking in the bush, game driving with elephant and a whole lot more!

8-13
Vamizi Island tanzania
Transferred back to the airstrip in time for the early flight to Dar es Salaam. Met by your pilot and transferred to the private plane down to Vamizi Island (stopping en-route to clear customs with your own customs officer!). Met and transferred to the lodge to stay for 6 nights on an all inclusive basis. This lodge is the epitome of luxury and the dream island, with 7 miles of private beach, excellent service and food.

Fly home
Fly from Vamizi back to Dar es Salaam to connect onto international flights (international flights not included in the itinerary cost).
