About the location
As mentioned in the introduction above, this luxury tented camp is located just to the west of the central regions of the park and, as such, enjoys the benefits of being a short drive of around an hour to the main areas of the Seronera while being far enough away to not have other vehicles in the region around the camp.

camp Layout
As with many of the tented camps in the Serengeti, the tents have been dotted in amongst the scrub forest that lines the slopes of Nyareboro Hill, behind the camp. Looking out to the north, and the open grasslands of the Serengeti, the rooms offer a good amount of privacy and a feeling of really being part of the bush, which is always something that really adds to the experience.

Dunia Camp Accomodation
While the “tin” says “camping” this is really no longer the case with the many luxury camps that have sprung up across the Serengeti. The tents at Dunia all feature carpeted floors, pocket sprung mattresses, ensuite showers and flush loos.
With a couple of safari chairs and a recliner, with views out across the plains, these are a great place to spend a few hours in the heat of the day.

Wildlife & Activities at Dunia Camp
Located right in the heart of the main game area for the Serengeti means that there is always something to see and do from the camp. Although the Serengeti does not allow walking in this region, which is a shame, the camp still gives a truly private experience of what can be a busy park in areas.
