The first of the great northern itineraries

This is the first of the itineraries to the northern safari parks of Tanzania. With the logistics of northern safaris and, due to their need to be around 6 nights for a driving circuit, it is very difficult to get any lower than this. For the price, however, and considering that this is a private, Landcruiser safari, we think it actually represents very good value. This trip takes in everywhere you will have heard about!

Fly to Kilimanjaro International

Fly to Kilimanjaro international airport and met on arrival.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area tanzania

Met on arrival by your private driver/guide and drive through to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive before driving on to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to stay in the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge on the edge of the caldera for the next 2 nights. The following day you will drive down into the Ngorongoro Crater to spend a full day game driving and back up to the Sopa for the night.

The Serengeti National Park tanzania

Drive through to the centre of the Serengeti (depending on time of year) to stay in the Seronera region for 3 nights in the Serena Hotel on a full board basis, including all game viewing activities. This region of the Serengeti is, due to the permanent water supply here, superb for game viewing year-round. Set amongst several of the main kopjes, the Serena Hotel is a good option with very good facilities.

Zanzibar Island tanzania

Dropped off by your driver for the flight down to Zanzibar. Met on arrival and transferred across the island to Breezes' Beach Club to stay for 5 nights on a half board basis.

Fly home

Transferred back to Zanzibar Airport to fly to Dar es Salaam international airport to connect onto your international flights home.
