About the location
The location of Grumeti and it’s sister properties is pretty unique in Africa. What are known as the Grumeti Reserves are located in the western “crook” of the Serengeti and, as such, benefit from the full migration herds passing through what is a completely private area twice a year, between May and July and again between November and late December.

lodge Layout
The main “house” has commanding views out across the Serengeti plains that sweep away to the horizon. The rest of the camp is made up of a selection of different sized cottages, each varying in size and numbers of rooms. These cater perfectly for small families or couples looking for a romantic getaway. All of them are exquisitely designed using the river stone and outstanding views out across the Serengeti to the maximum effect.
