About the location
Situated at around a 45 minute drive from the northern entrance to Tarangire NP and about the same to the southern entrance to Manyara NP, Chem Chem is well located on a migration corridor which means that it has game passing through the region year round.
For those that are looking to see more, it is easily possible to head to either of the parks within an hour.

lodge Layout
Each of the vast rooms looks out towards the Great Rift Escarpment and Lake Manyara National Park, separated by raised walkways that serve to protect against the potential expansion of the Lake in the rains. The layout has been well considered and each of the rooms is given plenty of space from the next.

Chem Chem Safari Lodge Accomodation
The rooms themselves are all located with their own aspect to the lake and have surrounding bush which gives each the privacy you would expect. There is plenty of room inside and, for us, the highlight is certainly the amount of relaxation space allowed by the decking that surround each room and the exceptional views from the bath!
