About the location
Its location in the game management area is means you get the best of both worlds; the seclusion of this private land, and the easy accessibility into the national park by boat or pontoon.
The only downside is that the national park area adjacent to Luangwa River Camp is the Mfuwe area which is the busiest area in the park. However, this camp gives you the seclusion of the private land so it is not necessarily a negative!

camp Layout
The main area is an elevated deck, and the infinity pool and vibrant green plants immediately grabs your attention. The five bush suites are located behind the main area, along the banks of the Luangwa River. The rooms are spaced well and trees and bushes give the privacy needed between the rooms.

Luangwa River Camp Accomodation
The rooms are very inviting as they are very spacious and elegant. As you walk into the canvassed suite, the large bed faces forward with an open-wardrobe area behind for guests to unpack all of their clothes. The bathroom is open and connects through from the bedroom. It is very well-appointed with a shower, vanity basins and a free-standing bath.

Wildlife & Activities at Luangwa River Camp
Luangwa River Camp offers game drives, walking safaris and night drives on a shared basis. The camp itself sits on private land in the game management area, so game drives can either be done on this land, or over into the national park on the other side of the river.
