About the location
The camp is located in the southern area of the park. This location offers total seclusion and the only other vehicles you will see, if any, will be other Bushcamp Company vehicles.

camp Layout
Chamilandu is formed of three stilted chalets which are all set along the riverbank, beneath an expansive ebony grove. The main area has a thatched room and homes a bar and dining area so you can enjoy the wildlife that comes to the river. The camp has a hide next to a watering hole which is a popular spot.

Chamilandu Bush Camp Accomodation
The chalets at Chamilandu are sat on wooden stilts which makes you feel like you are up in a luxurious tree house. The chalets are all open-fronted which is the theme throughout the camp. The chalets have en-suite bathrooms with twin showers, twin wash basins and toilets. The design is contemporary and sleek, and black mosquito nets give it an elegant finish.

Wildlife & Activities at Chamilandu Bush Camp
The area that Chamilandu sits in is remote, and often you will not see another safari vehicle (if you do, it will be another vehicle from The Bushcamp Company). The activities to choose from (morning and afternoon) include game drives and bush walks and both would be led by knowledgeable and professional guides from the camp.
Night drives are also permitted, which are often continued on from an afternoon game drive after a refreshing sundowner.
