About the location
Luwi is the most remote and exclusive bush camp in the Norman Carr portfolio. It is located on the same Luwi tributary as Nsolo Camp, but further out which features utter seclusion and privacy! There are two permanent lagoons in this area which home crocodiles, hippo and lurking predators.

camp Layout
The camp is formed of five en-suite thatched chalets and a small, cosy main area, all nestled in a grove of ancient mahogany trees. Luwi Camp is set along the dry riverbed and looks out to the floodplains below. The wildlife hide overlooks the lagoon which attract large herds of elephant as well as other animals.

Luwi Camp Accomodation
The suites are natural and authentic in terms of the accommodation and design. Although they feature comfortable amenities (large bed, flushing toilets, running hot water etc.), the rooms themselves are rustic and functional and the en-suite is open air.

Wildlife & Activities at Luwi Camp
The permanent oxbow lagoon near the camp homes resident hippo and crocodile and passing herds of elephant and prides of lion. As most bushcamps, Luwi is focused on walking safaris but these can be combined with game drives to give a varied and exciting safari experience.
