About the location
Chindeni Bush Camp is located in the southern plains of South Luangwa National Park, underneath a group of large ebony trees. Chindeni overlooks a large oxbow lake called Chayumba Lagoon, which is a magnet for wildlife throughout the year. The birdlife is particular good! They have a resident pride of 14 female lionesses including one cub and they are often seen hunting or sleeping near camp.

camp Layout
Four modern safari tents make up Chindeni Camp, each built up on raised wooden platforms and featuring their own private veranda and decking area. The main area comprises of a raised wooden platform that has a lounge and dining area and meals are communal, although guests can have private dining if they request so.

Chindeni Bush Camp Accomodation
The four tents include everything you will need for a comfortable stay on safari, along with a touch of comfort! Four-poster beds, spacious living areas with design-savy chairs, well-appointed en-suite bathrooms and private verandas are featured in every room.
The verandas all look out to the lagoon so birders in particular, will thoroughly enjoy an “armchair safari” in between safari activities.

Wildlife & Activities at Chindeni Bush Camp
The area that Chindeni sits in is remote, and often you will not see another safari vehicle (if you do, it will be another vehicle from The Bushcamp Company).
The activities to choose from (morning and afternoon) include game drives and bush walks and both would be led by knowledgeable and professional guides from the camp. Night drives are also permitted, which are often continued on from an afternoon game drive after a refreshing sundowner.
