About the location
Luangwa Safari House sits on the game management area opposite the national park. The house is only a few minutes from Nkwali Camp (also owned by Robin Pope Safaris) but it is completely exclusive to families or friends.
The house sits on a lagoon system which is frequently visited by large herds of elephant, impala, giraffe and many others! The Chindeni offer a stunning backdrop whilst guests are relaxing in the house.

camp Layout
The Luangwa Safari House was designed by Neil Rocher, the same architect who designed Chongwe House in the Lower Zambezi. The house has four bedrooms, each spacious with their own well-appointment en-suite. The lounge area is open-plan, with views out to the lagoon and the pool in front of the house.

Luangwa Safari House Accomodation
There are two bedrooms on the lower floor and two on the upper floor. They are similar in style as they are all very large and open, with huge en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that the bathrooms each have a different, subtle theme; gold, cooper, glass and silver.

Wildlife & Activities at Luangwa Safari House
Luangwa Safari House sits on the game management area on Robin’s private land. There is game in this area, but the game drives and walks tend to be done across the river inside the national park. To get across, the group staying in the private house will either be guided across by boat or pontoon and a safari vehicle will be waiting on the other side.
