About the location
Milele Villas is sat directly on the beach of Fukuchani on the northwest coast of Zanzibar. Although close to the town of Nungwi on the very north of the island, Milele Villas are located in an area isolated and secluded, offering peacefulness for guests.
The north‑western coastline offers calm, clear water ideal for snorkelling among reef fish, rays and small coral patches, while boat excursions toward deeper reefs can reveal turtles, dolphins and occasional reef sharks. Kayaking and paddle‑boarding are often possible in sheltered conditions, and divers can explore offshore coral gardens where larger open‑water species occasionally pass. The quiet, undeveloped shoreline enhances the sense of romantic seclusion while still supporting soft‑adventure marine activities.
Even with its appeal, a few compromises remain: the remote, villa‑only setup limits on‑site facilities, and the natural, eco‑leaning design may feel too rustic for guests expecting full‑service resort amenities.

The two private villas (Villa Lisa and Villa Tatu) are both located on the beach front but are spread apart from each other for that ultimate privacy. They are only booked exclusively, which means that you will always have the whole villa to yourselves!
The villas are both two-storey building with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge space. Villa Tatu even has a rooftop which is often offered for private dinners where guests can watch the sunset over the ocean. Both villas also have their own private pool and beach.

Milele Villas Accomodation
The villas are both very large and open, with high ceilings and private grounds. The rooms are simply furnished, with large double beds and spacious bathrooms, which are all simply decorated, with subtle hints of local art and design.
Even without air conditioning, following the ecotourism guidelines, rooms are cool and refreshed by the gentle breeze coming off the Indian ocean right outside the entrance.
