About the location
Zawadi is located around a 20 minute drive to the north of its sister properties Baraza, The Palms and Breezes Beach Club and so, unfortunately, doesn’t benefit from what is a stunning beach. Zawadi, rather, has a different focus with a clifftop position from which to view the Indian Ocean sea-scape.
Still, a couple of issues occasionally surface: the elevated clifftop position limits direct beach access, and the boutique scale may feel too quiet for guests seeking a broader range of facilities or evening activity.
resort Layout
Zawadi has a total of nine private villas which are located either side of the pool and main area. The Zanzibar Collection have fantastic facilities throughout their properties and Zawadi is no different. With an infinity pool, a white-sand beach, beautiful tropical gardens, a relaxing spa, a natural gym including a 900-metre long jogging trail, chin up bars, benches, monkey bars and weights!

Zawadi Accomodation
The villa interior is very modern, featuring neutral coloured walls and elegant, textured accessories and fabrics to compliment. The rooms are well-appointed: the bedroom and lounge area is all open-plan, the en-suite bathrooms are large and feature rain shower and a free-standing bath and the sunbathing chairs on the veranda invite you to relax with views out to the Indian Ocean. To top it all off, each villa has effective air conditioning for when the heat gets a little too much!
