About the location
White Sands Villas is on the south eastern side of the island in Paje. The beach is, of course, white sanded and the lagoon is crystal clear. The lagoon is perfect for snorkelling and kiteboarding, with shallow waters during low tide and a reef that protects the lagoon from the waves.
The south‑eastern coastline offers warm, shallow water for snorkelling among reef fish, starfish and small coral patches, while boat excursions toward offshore reefs provide encounters with green turtles, dolphins, reef sharks and rays. Diving trips can reach deeper coral slopes where manta rays and, in the right season, humpback whales may pass offshore. Kayaking and paddle‑boarding are often possible in the sheltered lagoon, adding gentle adventure to the area’s romantic atmosphere.
On the downside, the strong tidal range limits swimming for long periods, and the spacious villa layout may feel spread out for guests preferring a more compact resort environment.

The villas consist of two units connected by a garden with a terrace and a private pool. They offer many opportunities for eating and drinking including a rooftop lounge and bar and a fine-dining restaurant that serves up blends of local Zanzibar-inspired dishes and international cuisine flavours.
The resort has its own White Sand Spa, which is nestled in the island’s bushy grounds. The spa offers a range of treatments, as well as use of the steam room and sauna to properly relax and unwind.

White Sands Villas Accomodation
There are five 1-bedroom villas, five 2-bedroom villas and one presidential 5-bedroom villas spread across the expansive grounds of White Sands Resort.
Surrounding the villas are tropical gardens and the stunning white sand beaches of the Paje. The villas, both the architecture and their interior design and layout, are very modern and sleek, with outdoor staircases, private rooftops and relaxing daybeds.
