About the location
Along with its sister properties, Baraza and Breezes, The Palms benefits from arguably the best beach on the island.
The south‑eastern coastline offers warm, shallow water suited to snorkelling among reef fish, starfish and small coral patches, with low‑tide reef flats exposing crabs and shells. Boat trips toward offshore reefs provide access to turtles, dolphins, reef sharks and rays, while diving excursions can reach deeper coral slopes where larger marine species occasionally pass. Kayaking and paddle‑boarding in the lagoon add gentle adventure to the area’s romantic, quiet setting.
Still, a couple of issues occasionally surface: the wide tidal range limits swimming, and the intimate, villa‑only format means fewer shared facilities than larger full‑service resorts nearby.
hotel Layout
As mentioned in the overview, the physical plot of land that the Palms is on is fairly thin and, as such, the villas are slightly closer than we would have ideally placed them, but this is not the end of the world and there is still a good amount of room between them.
Otherwise, the hotel is very well laid out, with a good dining area on one side, a good sized pool in the centre (with a second restaurant) and your own gazebo directly on the beach.

The Palms Accomodation
Each of the luxury villas in the Palms is very spacious and crammed with all of the amenities that you would expect from this level of property. All have tvs with dvd players, airconditioning, a full lounge area and vast bed and bathrooms. On top of this, outside also features a private Jacuzzi and lounge area.
