About the location
Qambani is located on the eastern shores of Zanzibar, on the tip of the secluded Michamvi Peninsula. It boasts a beautiful white sand beach and views of the Indian Ocean from the swimming pool and main area. Qambani grows its own vegetables, fruits and herbs in its tropical gardens which makes the food delicious and adds to the overall experience.
The south‑eastern coastline offers warm, shallow water suited to snorkelling among reef fish, starfish and small coral patches, while boat trips toward offshore reefs provide encounters with green turtles, dolphins, reef sharks and rays. Diving excursions can reach deeper coral slopes where manta rays and, during migration, humpback whales may appear. Kayaking and paddle‑boarding are often possible in the sheltered lagoon, adding soft‑adventure appeal to the area’s romantic coastal setting.
Looking at the drawbacks, the strong tidal range limits swimming for long periods, and the expansive villa layout may feel spread out for guests preferring a more compact resort environment.

Qambani was originally built as a family home, kept private from the public however it has recently opened its doors and now proudly shares its spacious villas with many guests from across the world.
Qambani features six detached villas spread across well-maintained beaches and tropical gardens. In and around the main area, you will find a lounge, a dining area, a large infinity pool, a smaller salt water pool (for children), a media room and an air-conditioned gym.

Qambani Accomodation
The six detached, thatched modern villas in Qamabani each offer something different. “Castaway” and “Coastal” are two-bedroom villas that are perfect for families, with shared sitting areas, sea-view verandas, air-conditioning, espresso machines, WiFi and much more! The other villas; Africa, Plantation, Sultan and Sundowner are suitable for couples, friends or families and range in privacy, design, facilities and location.
